Taiwan Tour 2008

Welcome to the Inaugural Taiwan Tour Homepage. On this page you will find photos and commentary of the trip as it unfolds. 19 students and 2 staff depart Monday 24 March for a 13 day tour of Taiwan hosted by Wenhua Elementary School in Taipei City. Day 1 - Depart Brisbane International Airport 10.25am 24 March. Arrive Taoyuan International Airport (5.10pm Taiwan time / 7.10pm BNE)
Day 2 - Welcome Ceremony at Wenhua School
Day 3 - Li Tien-lu Hand Puppet Historical Museum, Juming Museum & Tamshui Historical Museum
Day 4 - Taiwanese Singing, Lion Dancing, Chinese Cooking lessons & Chinese Calligraphy
Day 5 - Integration Classes & Beitou Hot Spring Baths Excursion
Day 6 -  Toucheng Leisure Farm & National Center Traditional Arts
Day 7 - Activities with Host Family
Day 8 - National Palace Museum, Qld Government Trade & Investment Office & Taipei 101 Building
Day 9 -  Integration Classes & Tea Ceremony Workshop
Day 10 - Taipei Zoo & Maokong Gondola
Day 11 - Integration Classes & Farewell Party
Day 12 - Children's Recreation Centre, Space Theater & Yinge Ceramics Museum then depart !
